Expression Web v1 & v2 add-ins
« on: August 26, 2010, 05:40:20 PM »
There are extensions that only work in version 1 of Expression Web such as the ones from InstantFX (not sure if they are still available) for creating Flash photo galleries and some other productivity features.

  • Instant-fx.net - some
free & others commercial addons. This well respected maker of FrontPage Add-ons was one of the first to offer
Expression Web support to his programs

    • Navigation Maker
    • MP3 Player Maker
    • SlideShow Maker
    • Flash Browser
    • Flash Browser/Transformer
    • Flash Puzzle Maker
    • ToolTip Maker

  • Webs Unlimited - From the maker of J-Bots and other add-ins for FrontPage comes Pane Manager
to collapse and expand the Task Panes (paid) à la Visual Studion and
Dreamweaver, and Includes (free) which restores the ability to use design time
includes without the need to use a code snippet.
  • Webassist - PayPal- Webassist has been making ecommerce extensions and add-ons for many web
editors. This PayPal is their first Expression Web add-on but I expect there
will be a PayPal cart available from Webassist sooner or later.
  • expressionextras.com (was d2stuff) - Google sitemap builder, other search engine tools, and other utilities.

Cheryl
I would NEVER recommend Webs Unlimited.
I paid for their add in 35.00 and it never worked. Ever.
They never responded to any email
I sent over 30 emails and made a pay pal claim which Pay Pal denied because it was a download, what a crock.

Their program did not work
Plain and simple and they are a rip off that DOES NOT respond

I've never used their extensions but I've heard similar complaints from others so I'll leave your "review" at stands for others to take into consideration. Frankly, I'm more interested in v4 extension since the new model should mean they will work in future versions as well.
